Dr. V. Suresh has worked in the human rights movement in India for two decades. Today, he serves as the General Secretary of the People's Union for Civil Liberties (PUCL), a national human rights organization, where he has conducted inquiries into human rights abuses, including civil liberties violations, caste and communal violence, and state repression.
